Introduction

Welcome to CPD Points for Builders. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

Builders Continued Professional Development Courses

1. Course Offerings: CPD Points for Builders offers a variety of courses designed to help builders (members) earn their Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points. These courses include reading tasks that are required to be completed by the buyer.

2. Reading Tasks: Our courses consist primarily of reading tasks rather than quizzes or interactive modules. It is the responsibility of the buyer to thoroughly read and understand the materials provided.

3. Completion: Requirements: To earn CPD points, members must complete all designated reading tasks associated with a course. The completion of these tasks will be tracked and recorded by our system.

Accuracy, Completeness, and Timeliness of Information

1. Course Content: We strive to ensure that all course content is up-to-date and accurate. However, due to the ever-evolving nature of building regulations and industry standards, some information may become outdated or incorrect over time.

2. Disclaimer: CPD Points for Builders makes no guarantees regarding the absolute accuracy, completeness, or currency of the course materials. Users are encouraged to verify critical information and consult additional sources where necessary.

3. No Legal Liability: While we make every effort to provide accurate and useful information, CPD Points for Builders will not be held liable for any inaccuracies, errors, or omissions in the course materials. Members agree that they will not pursue legal action against CPD Points for Builders for any consequences resulting from the use of our course materials.

User Responsibilities

1. Compliance: Members are responsible for ensuring that they comply with all relevant CPD requirements and regulations set forth by their professional governing bodies.

2. Verification: Members should independently verify the information provided in the courses to ensure it meets their specific needs and professional requirements.

3. Non Tranferable CPD Points are not transferable from one member to another. Only one Certificate of completion for any courses will be provided to that one same member.

4. Updating Member Details: Members will need to contact CPD Points for Builders if they wish to change any of their personal details. Note that only corrections will be made for errors to information at the sole discretion of CPD, further noting that the service is non transferable.

Refunds

1. Eligibility: Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis. To be eligible for a refund, members must submit a request within 7 days of purchase and must not have downloaded any completion certificate.

2. Process: To request a refund, please contact our customer service team at info@cpdpointsforbuilders.com.au with your order details and reason for the request. We will review your request and notify you of the outcome within 10 business days.

3. Non-Refundable Items: Where Completion Certificates have been downloaded, members will not eligible for a refund. Administrative fees may apply and will be deducted from any approved refunds.

Modifications and Pricing

1. Modifications: CPD Points for Builders reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any course or service at any time, with or without notice. This includes the right to change course content, pricing, and availability.

2. Pricing: All CPD prices are subject to change without prior notice.

3. Promotions: CPD Points for Builders may offer promotional discounts or special offers from time to time. These promotions are subject to specific terms and conditions and may be discontinued at any time without notice.

If You Do Not Agree To These Terms and Conditions

1. Non-Acceptance: If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using our website and services. Your continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance of these Terms.

2. Termination: CPD Points for Builders reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to our services for users who do not comply with these Terms.

Intellectual Property

1. Ownership: All course materials, including text, graphics, logos, and other intellectual property, are the property of CPD Points for Builders and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

2. Usage: Members are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the course materials for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of the course materials is strictly prohibited.

Modifications to Terms

1. Updates: CPD Points for Builders reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.

2. Notification: Users will be notified of significant changes to the Terms through our website or via email. Continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Access & Support

1. Access: CPD Points for Builders will allow access 24/7 to the website for its members to pay, read, download, and use all services
2. Uptime: CPD Points for Builders uses premium, secure hosting services and shall ensure that the website is available for its members, however it must be noted that from time to time outages can occur that out of CPD’s control and consequently cannot be held responsible for these.
3. Support: CPD Points for Builders can be contacted during office hours Monday to Friday Eastern Standard time via phone, or email. All outside of office hours enquiries will be attended to the next working business day, within 48 hours maximum.

CPD Points

1. Points: CPD Points are purchased in various package sizes, that are placed into a virtual wallet ready to be used against any course on the website.
2. Virtual Wallet: Purchased CPD Points will be held in trust by CPD Points for Builders on behalf of the member in their virtual wallet. These CPD points can be used at anytime a member wishes to do so against any available course.
3. Non Refundable CPD Points: Purchased CPD Points that remain unused are not refundable. These points can be used to purchase new courses.

Term

CPD Points for Builders will allow members to access and use all factionality within the website 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year. 

CPD Points For Builders reserves the right exclusively to terminate the website services and it’s business at anytime for whatever reason, however noting the following:

1. That no less than 30 days notice will be provided to members notifying them of termination of services, and to use any unused CPD points in their wallet prior termination of services.
2. Notice shall be privided to all members via email, and in teh website inself.
3. There will be no refund or payment to any member after the notice period and expiration of the asevices.
